I'm learning

The news is funny. I just watched a story about pumpkin fungus. I hear that some pumpkin patches are riddled with a fungus that eats the meat of the pumpkin so that the shell of the pumpkin simply caves in as it ripens.

Simply amazing.


It's interesting to think about the lifecycle of an item determined as "newsworthy", and how it ultimately reaches the media consumer.

Not too much to elaborate on right now, but at least I have something to think about when I complain about only the uncomfortable and negative snippets of life getting any attention on tv.
